About Us

From the time she was still in the womb, Amber Giorgi was on the back of a horse; call it destiny if you like. Before she was walking, she was being thrown up on the back of a new Shetland pony her parents had brought home for her. With careful training, she learned to ride, then gather cattle on this stead. Under her father's watchful eye, the big horses came next and with them, gradual introduction to different disciplines. Amber was captivated by the gymkhana events . . .ya, it was all about speed and precision from the get-go! At this point, her father told her she could compete if she wanted to: there were five ranch horses on the hill, "Good Luck!" So it was that being a self-taught trainer, Amber spent many hours in the saddle feeling out each horse's ability, finally claiming the most athletic one for her own. She turned this mare (one originally acquired for free) into an all around state champion over her high school years. It was during this time Amber also started a small breeding program, in addition to breaking and selling colts for her Veterinary Education College funds. You can guess where this led. She devoted more of her time learning from other great trainers while simultaneously accruing more horses in her barn. Amber now trains, teaches and boards horses full time and loves every minute of it!
